If i'm right... The real victory here is not really about Bannon jailed for contempt...

And it's not really even about him testifying... We all know he would just say 'Blurp... Sorry, I am and was too drunk to... Blaarp... Remember anything so I'm... Bluuuch... Taking the 5th of vodka'... And jail for contempt is peanuts.

No... I think the real victory here is that the Jan 6th committee will now get their hands on his phone, text, email and other records that everyone was told to hang onto. Yeah, he can and probably has deleted them off his devices but the companies he does business with (phone, internet, etc.) still have it all.

That... As I see it, is what will really tell the tale.

Of course... The jail time for contempt will amuse me as well

meaning his penalty will be relatively mild - a fine and a few weeks in the pokey at most - but as gratifying as it might be to see that walking trash heap dragged away for a short stay at Club Fed, the important result is that he has to testify under oath (perjury being a more serious offense) and cough up his documents and correspondence. Bannon isn't the ultimate target, after all.

Significant because these guys don't want to spend 1 second in jail, let alone a few days, month or year.

But be prepared when the next GOP POTUS pardons them all.
