Perhaps Joes infrastructure bill could help out with this, unless they are not particularly interested in catering to tourism, but hey, coming from a tourism saturated state, I sympathize.

(86,775 posts)I recall when rest areas in the great lakes states were outhouses with a breeze, even in winter. It was pretty miserable but at least it was something. It's been decades since I've been to Vermont.

And in this case the seat is safe for Democrats.
But it's up to them.

I don't think he'd run, for the same reason Sununu didn't --It's a headache and a step down

(50,303 posts)art rather than continue to be stuck in the black hole of the Senate. I imagine Peter Welch would run for the seat and he's been quite popular as a Congressman so he'd have a good chance of winning it.
