2. as long as they have s Republican Governor, we should take care to protect those 2 Senate seats.

I like Leahy but when he got ill when he was hearing the 2nd Impeachment it was scary and forewarning.

So, of course we need to protect them, but any "damage" would be fairly limited if something unexpected happened.

I discovered that within the boundaries of the entire state there were three public toilets.

Perhaps Joe’s infrastructure bill could help out with this, unless they are not particularly interested in catering to tourism, but hey, coming from a tourism saturated state, I sympathize.

I recall when rest areas in the great lakes states were outhouses with a breeze, even in winter. It was pretty miserable but at least it was something. It's been decades since I've been to Vermont.

would enjoy retirement I can't see why they would want to continue there at this age.

And in this case the seat is safe for Democrats.

But it's up to them.

I don't think he'd run, for the same reason Sununu didn't --It's a headache and a step down

art rather than continue to be stuck in the black hole of the Senate. I imagine Peter Welch would run for the seat and he's been quite popular as a Congressman so he'd have a good chance of winning it.
