take the bill apart and vote on each issue separately and show the GOP what wedge issues are. They'll be on record hating regular Americans or seniors who want regular drug prices and not be gouged.

in getting this historic bill passed.

Pelosi and company got most of the ACA passed into law after well over a year of battling, during which it was declared dead a number of times, but NEVER by her.

And though it did lose some provisions that would have to be added later, it passed in amazingly comprehensive form because she fought others in both parties for every bit of it and wouldn't agree to cutting it back to passable "core elements." Her position to the administration on what the House would agree to: Go big or get nothing.

Former Senate majority leader Harry Reid: "Well, I had my doubts a time or two. The Obamacare, it had failed so many times. Oh, gee, so many times."

Nancy to the press in January 2010 after after the devastating MA election that filled Ted Kennedy's seat with a Republican, losing us our 60-Democrat filibuster-proof majority:

"We will go through the gate. If the gate is closed, we will go over the fence. If the fence is too high, we will pole vault in. If that doesn't work, we will parachute in. But we are going to get healthcare reform passed for the American people..."

John Boehner, laughing out loud at attempts to mischaracterize Pelosi as a corporatist marshmallow: "Take one of the most liberal members of the House -- from San Francisco -- and turn her into a "moderate Democrat." That's hilarious."

Go, Nancy. We're with you!
