Slice, chop, dice or mince...

..the politics as much as you like but the resulting entrée will be the same.

Every day I listen to several hours of afternoon and evening MSNBC cable news, beginning with Deadline White House. And every one of them stirs the same pot of politics every day, adding some different ingredient opinions from different pundit chefs. But the primary ingredients are such that no amount of added seasoning can change the end result.

The Republican majority is not going to miraculously change their cult driven crusade back to a Constitution, Democracy based, functional, constructive political party...they are going to break or circumvent every norm of decency and ethical behavior to take control of the government. To think otherwise, is a mistake. The proof of that was illustrated with the Gosar censure.

Cheney and Kinzinger voted yea, the remainder voted nay, with some even trivializing the action as a purely political ploy, with promises of future retribution. Pelosi can't censure the entire House Republican caucus or expel any member so we're still at square one. And all the while, the Dems continue to play by the rules.

I'm having doubts that any of the Jan 6 primetime players are ever going to testify before time runs out...hopefully I'm wrong but I'm also hoping the Dems have a plan or the courts will speed up the process.
