Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) told his colleagues this week top party donors were furious with the number of Republicans including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell who voted for the bipartisan infrastructure bill, Axios reports.
The donors complained to Scott it was foolish for any member of their party to help deliver a win to President Biden.

(118,696 posts)much of their wealth they will be handing over every day to the corrupt when the autocratic take power in the US. It won't just be fundraisers. It will be pay to play in business, pay off the criminal gangs to not kidnap their kids, etc. Rich people in Pakistan go shopping together with security and their own ambulances in tow. Fun, fun, fun.

(58,785 posts)is supposed to work, though. All states get funding for various projects, but the more populous (as in "the people"!) the more a state tends to be allocated, and Florida is the third most populous state.
Fwiw, tRump and a lot of the Republicans in congress would understand the reasoning perfectly and be way out ahead on it. The less actually for people in any state, the more for donors.
Oh, btw, 48% of Floridians voted Democrat.
