Lincoln's Gettysburg Address lasted around two minutes. Lincoln famously, and incorrectly, stated that "The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here"

McCarthy has blathered on endlessly for hours-- and has said nothing of note or worth remembering.

He rambled on for 21 hours and 19 minutes.

The longest use of the House procedure that allows the speaker and the ranking member to speak for an unlimited time prior to a vote before last night was by Nancy, who spoke for 8 hours before an immigration bill vote in February 2018. I suspect one reason that McCarthy went 8 and a half hours was so he could claim to have that record.
