Going after Big Bird isn't enough, Cruz takes on Library of Congress

HOW DARE THEY drop the term "Illegal alien"?

After taking on Big Bird over his Covid-19 vaccination, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is going after the Library of Congress for abandoning the use of the term “illegal alien” as a subject heading for organizing materials.

The Library of Congress confirmed Thursday that it will change the subject headings “aliens” to “noncitizens” and “illegal aliens” to “noncitizens” and “illegal immigration.”

Cruz protested the changes in a letter dated Wednesday and posted on his website. Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., also signed the letter. The library had originally sought to make the changes in 2016.

In the letter, the senators blame the changes on the Biden administration and a “progressive preference to control language and take up arms on a ‘political battleground.’”

“This decision is nothing but a politically-motivated and Orwellian attempt to manipulate and control language,” the letter says.

...He's cruised around the bend and is into never-never land with his asshole stunts to throw at his idiot constituents

of xenophobia, which Ted and the MAGAts favor. A lot of language has political overtones if you look for them.

No matter what the fatuous Ted Cruz (or any who embrace these obviously racist terms) says, no person is an illegal person. People may do illegal things, but that does not make them illegal. People who entered this country without the proper documentation are not illegal people, they are undocumented aliens.

Now, if Sen. Cruz insists on using the term "illegal alien" he should be reminded that those who declared certain people illegal were Nazis. The Nazis took away the German citizenship of the Jewish citizens of Germany and declared them to be illegal. Later they expanded this to all Jews (and the Roma people and other people that did not meet their definition of legal humans) within the conquered European countries and killed as many as they could with the help of many like-minded people.

So, Ted Cruz are you a Nazi or do you just play one in public?

Calls it the republican grievance committee, with a plethora of investigators looking for petty issues to complain about?
