Will Karma repeat? (The New Jersey Theory)

The theory in my corner of the world is that we wanted both VA and NJ but got a split decision.

We want both Rittenhouse and the Georgia Three.

We lost Rittenhouse.

Do we get the Georgia Three?

I think we will.

Rittenhouse was nowhere close to guilty under the law. At the very least, there was reasonable doubt all over it.

I don't like this whole "What will we get."

"We" shouldn't get anything. We should get fair trials based on evidence, facts, and the law.

I think Rittenhouse got that. I hope the Georgia case gets that as well.

Justice should not be a partisan team sport.

...our justice system is even more screwed up than I thought.

I do think we will get a conviction of the Georgia Three. Less room for the defense to run interference, and an infinitely better judge.

I actually thought this was a pretty clear case. You can't cause a problem then say you're defending yourself when the people try to protect themselves from you! The arguments used by the defense in this trial were similar to the ones argued by the three. I guess it all depends on the jury's ability to analyze and comprehend the law and the facts of the case.
I am no longer sure.
