I never worried about the people in the street who disagreed with us.. they yelled they screamed.. but I was never afraid that they would pull out some type of weapon and cause me bodily harm.. the police, well that is a different question..

Iv'e been in authoritarian environments like psych wards where staffs word is basically law.

when they put you in solitary for months, force you to take medicines regardless if they make you so tired its a challenge to keep your eyes open,and feel like 2 day old shit.

I did radical stuff for justice when I was on psych units like organizing a unit riot so the seniors could graduate. The staff kept people restricted on unit because 1 patient took the sugar water juice cups and made vinegar. I warned him it was silly and would make vinegar and mold.
He didnt listen to me and had like 100 juice cups hidden in his closet when staff did bedroom checks he got busted and the whole unit was on unit lockdown because nobody wanted to tattle on him over vinegar.

I had it organized the riot called the police while the other patients kept staff corraled and when they got there I spoke to the cops first. I told them
I didnt want to hurt staff,and told them what happened and that the staff were forcing kids to be truant for almost a month.

The staff got reprimanded, the students got the absence excused and the seniors graduated.

There were many instances where I stood up for justice and got authoritarian monsters
In trouble.

I just love fucking up authoritarians bullshit and making sure they get fucked for what awful tyrannical they do.

Years and years on psych units long term teaches you a lot of stuff.

Dont drive but wondering if any activists could take me back and forth to help resistance. Otherwise I am stuck where I am at .

While closing arguments took place in the trial, the Missouri US Senate candidate and his wife were heckled by protesters outside the court as they defended Mr Rittenhouse as an example of cancel culture.

“I feel bad for anybody who gets destroyed in the press for doing no more than protecting themselves and their fellow citizens. There is a cancel culture in this country that destroys the ability to tell the truth, to be honestly portrayed in the press,” Mr McCloskey told reporters.

“That’s why we’re up here, to show that there is a right to defend yourself, there is truth, there is reality, and despite what the mainstream media says, despite what the president of the United States may say, the jury in this trial heard the facts, and we’re hoping that they find Kyle Rittenhouse innocent of all counts.”
