"An anime doesn't threaten anybody. It's a cartoon. It's emblematic of how he fights against AOC's vacuous proposals and wild spending. But count on democrats and pundits who find offense, and spend time promoting it every chance they can - along with getting nothing else done. It must be a real nightmare to wake up everyday and have to be outraged over something. Today - a cartoon. Tomorrow? Perhaps a box of cereal. Who knows? Meanwhile - Americans are still stuck behind Taliban lines; our allies and those of our foreign partners are still stuck behind enemy lines in Afghanistan - women are being beaten; banned from schools and nothing but crickets from the expensive ice cream eating Pelosi and her demo party. Pathetic."
This is Gosar related.
Nothing yet on Rittenhouse and I'm frankly surprised.

(575 posts)There isn't any alert they get that they've been blocked by someone. So yes they would know but it might take them a while to notice you're gone.

Rightists were outraged, calling it a direct threat etc. It pretty much ended her media career.

(10,434 posts)and using their same wording. I'd bet anything that your "friend" was totally outraged by comedian Kathy Griffin.
I never pass up a chance to rub their noses in their own hypocrisy.

If you're white, it's all right (to apparently mow down people in the streets).

(63,912 posts)My husband was a public servant. He headed up the Homeless Commission for several years and has been in public service in Democratic state and local governments his entire career. I am a lifelong Democrat, having worked for the ACLU and Planned Parenthood at the local and federal levels.
I don't mean to discount your concerns but at our ages (early 80s) we look on in dismay. We thought we helped people to live better lives. I hope we did.

(3,212 posts)erotic anime and manga? (some lightly erotic anime is mainstream even (To Love Ru), but the harder stuff is called hentai - although that's not the meaning of the word in Japan - it means pervert or something there and it's about people not media).
Is rape Oh-k, just because it's a cartoon?
Yeah, you could ask that. Where is the line?
I mean I'm all for freedom of speech, but there is a line, like yelling fire in a crowded theater, libel, and inciting violence and terrorist threats are over that line!
