President Biden on Friday announced his nominees to replace two members and allies of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy of the USPS board of governors, Axios reports.
Washington Post: The move was a surprise to postal officials and even members of Congress, according to three people with knowledge of the matter, and casts doubt on DeJoys future at the agency. It potentially gives liberals on the panel two crucial votes to oust the postal chief, who can be removed only by the board. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely about private discussions.

(14,024 posts)but the emphasis was on "shit" rather than "done".
TFG could shit a turd into a pan, cook it up on a stove and hand it to one of his automatons and they'd gladly munch down on it. There is no bottom for these people.

(34,458 posts)Of this for months. And, its generally true that Presidents bring in their own replacements across a spectrum of jobs. These guys knew when their terms were up.

(34,458 posts)My prior post about why everyone, including him, has had multiple indications for months that it was highly likely that he would be replaced.

(8,918 posts)That's why I believe he thought he would be renewed.

(34,458 posts)The indicators were all around. Congresspeople, including one from IL who was interviewed on MSNBC last night, have been pressing Biden for months to make changes. He indicated that his constituents contacted him more about the Postal Service problems than about any other issue.
If I as a non-politician, and many people on DU, saw the writing on the wall, Bloom should have.
He was a Democrat appointed by Trump. Does that suggest anything?

(8,053 posts)I mean, it's AFT (about fucking time) that he got the post office board of directors changed out so they could get rid of dejoy, but will a republican board member vote to get rid of him?

And the list might be scammed -- conservatives have been gaming the system for years.
