Moment of Waukesha Killer's arrest caught on video

I was under the impression he returned to his residence, incorrect. Looks like after ditching his murder weapon SUV he tried and failed to escape by Uber after using some kind stranger's phone.

Edited to add: NBC using the word "accident" to describe this attack is highly questionable to me.

I don't know if the reports that he suddenly seemed to be aiming for people is accurate but you would think a suspect who drove toward a crowd would stop and abandon the vehicle and take off running. Not plow through people, killing and injuring them.

Yet continued on his path. Not an accident, not a chase, just straight up intentional homicide.

Absolutely not, and I am going to rethink that whole good Samaritan approach.

You are right. There is nothing accidental about this.

Knew he was guilty of crimes trying to hide at someones house and pretending to call uber to outfox the cops. Glad that bastard was caught.

Another godamn sociopath.

The homeowner was interacting with evil and didn't know it. Chilling to watch.

Also agreed regarding "accident." Irresponsible wording when dealing with an attack that resulted in intentional homicide charges. 5 dead and 50 plus wounded at last count IIRC.

The killer was in the good-Samaritan's home for a bit, very close call.

Lobbies for cars, highways, suburban development, fossil fuel use, and so on have always pushed “accident” to make sure those at fault for the design of our deadly traffic system are not seen as culpable.

without thinking too much about people outside the car.

Up until the 1920s people had been in the streets for hundreds of years. Now it’s only at special times like parades.
