Michael Cohen Says Prosecutors 'Are Going After Donald, Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka'

“I truly believe that [prosecutors] can indict Donald Trump tomorrow if they really wanted, and be successful,” Trump’s former personal attorney said of New York law enforcement’s investigation of the Trump Organization[link:http://|

“They committed crimes,” Michael Cohen, former personal attorney to Donald Trump, said of the Trump Organization, adding, “I can assure you that Donald Trump is guilty of his own crimes.”

But prosecutors aren’t just focused on Trump, Cohen said, “They are going after Donald, Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka.”

Appearing on Meet the Press on Sunday, Cohen discussed the ongoing case against the Trump Organization as New York law enforcement examines the company’s finances. According to Cohen, Trump often fraudulently inflated the worth of his assets to get better financing deals — something Cohen admitted he helped him do.

“Was I involved in much of the inflation and deflation of his assets? The answer to that is yes,” Cohen told host Chuck Todd.

I don't think he has any special knowledge into what prosecutors are doing, and if he did I wouldn't count on him to tell the truth about it.

The Trumps are smart enough to be hands off enough to be able to say "but we just trusted the licensed professionals we hired" who per their state licensure usually have the higher duty to meet rules and regulations that owners who court precedents frequently just view as bumbling incompetents and have not as high a duty in any particular circumstance. To the degree the corporate entities of Trump suffer fines or penalties that devalues the Trump bottom line, but not the same pain as sitting in a jail cell.

That Trump never put any of this stuff in writing. He got on the phone and told his people what he wanted them to do. Plausible deniability right there. And zero documentation.

Daddy never puts anything into writing because he never sends emails. He has the toadies do everything, so there's always someone to blame the "mistakes" on. Even when they weren't really mistakes at all.

My guess is it will be Ivanka, as she is married to money, whereas the boys depend on dad for income.
