Breaking more than par and breaking many enormous barriers.

The first black pro golfer, Lee Elder, passed away at 87. I didn’t know much about him, but reading his story this morning I learned a lot about his game and man he was. As the first black man, he dealt with racism and was the first black person to play at Augusta. He was remembered by Jack Nicholaus saying “The game lost a hero”.
