Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes blasts ex-boyfriend

in her last day on the witness stand. Apparently the defense rested today.
It's a pretty leisurely trial. Her cross examination was interrupted by something like a five day break. Now final arguments are scheduled for Dec. 16. Usually judges like to hurry things along. Not this one.
Well, the defense seems to be her saying she didn't intend to be a fraudster. We'll see how it played, I assume before the holiday.

own companies without the support or aid of a man. Thank you.

And now a supposedly successful entrepreneur, who earned the support and money from notable leaders now blames.... her boyfriend? She was afraid of him?

Regardless of the outcome, her testimony will hurt the ability of other bright, resourceful women to start a business and to raise funds.

I suspect, having read the book on this situation, that it's really they only defense she's got. Not that that makes me like it any better.
