I saw her as the musical guest on SNL she was walking on the ceiling. Weirdest thing ever. I suppose it was special effects.

I’m not a fan of whispery or mouth-feely or auto tuned myself, but it’s not them. It’s me. I can’t stand my dogs licking things either.

It ran under the Lonely Christmas commercial. I had no idea she did a cover of the Smith's "Please Please Please"

So good!

Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson don’t hold a candle to Billie. The others, well, you ought to check your calendar. None of them were in their prime this century.

I truly don't care that she's had a fan base created for her. So, too, have a lot of music "stars" in the past decades. Just no.

On edit, I just watched her appearance on SNL and I fully believe she did a great job--including a couple of sketches where she sang as a torch singer or other character. She showed she CAN sing when imitating someone else and was quite comedic. So, why the breathy, boring, emotionless manner in which she normally sings? It is the latter I can't stand. What gives?

I think her voice is fine and her songwriting shows real potential. Her actual music isn’t my favorite but I do like a lot of it.

She’s not terrible but I don’t get the hype. I find a lot of her songs boring and underwhelming. And yes, too much whispering and too little actual singing.

And lest people think I’m just some old fart who doesn’t like any new music, there are numerous contemporary female pop artists that I’m a fan of. Lorde is phenomenal. Lizzo, Taylor Swift, Adele, Lady Gaga—all great. Halsey’s most recent album was literally one of the best albums of any genre I’ve heard in years.

But Billie Eilish just leaves me cold and bored. Just my opinion.

presence as an SNL Guest. She was pretty funny. She just seems really down to earth and easy going.

At least regarding the show.
I thought she was pretty funny & clearly on board with the program.
I don't, however, care for her singing. That said, her brother is a pretty good song writer. He's a big reason for her success.

Thoroughly enjoy the singer Lorde as well, her odd hand and body movements mesmerizes me.
