(11,029 posts)I mean, Ive seen it covered a lot. But I guess this journalist just isnt paying attention to all the video of the bomber thats been circulating while they try to identify them.

(8,387 posts)Like the post 9/11 anthrax thing, it seems to be that someone was intent on sowing additional chaos, perhaps merely opportunistically.
But its not solved, so we just dont know. People have an urge to fill we just dont know gaps with guesses of variable ultimate accuracy.

(13,571 posts)Almost a year now.
Surveillance cameras everywhere.
Cel phone towers everywhere.
If the FBI hasn't identified that person, they ought to close shop and go home.
I believe they HAVE identified the person.
And if it were a NOBODY, we would have been told by now.
So, deductive reasoning allows us to think the bomber is NOT A NOBODY, but likely a MEMBER OF CONGRESS.
And someone is afraid to give that information to the American people.

(43,182 posts)I've always thought the bombs were placed at the direction of high level people to create chaos. High level people usually have underling to do things for them. It just could not be a rogue operation, that wouldn't make any sense.

(13,571 posts)....after clear video has been available from multiple cameras for almost a year now.
What would give you the idea that our top Law Enforcement agency would be so inadequate as to not be able to identify this person?

You're sounding silly. Or naive. Or something.

(42,714 posts)Shows a person wearing a hoodie and a mask. Unlike what you see on TV, there isn't magic technology that can take that video and provide images revealing clear identifying information such as eye color, facial markings, even shape of face.
I'm pretty certain I'm not the one who is naive.

(8,387 posts)On top of using phone tracking data (and obviously the bomber wasn't carrying a phone), many of them were turned in by tips from the public and from people who recognized them on social media by the multiple clear unmasked face pictures, and the social media posts of the insurrectionists in the act.
Still, there are many key individuals which remain unidentified and at large.
To say "oh, they must know who the bomber is because they have rounded up a small subset of people from clear daylight pictures on social media" takes a special kind of determined ignorance.

He didn't follow through with his plan because his grandmother turned him in.
Still, compare that to the light sentences the traitors are getting when they follow through with their plans.

Where can I find the identity of this bomber who got a light sentence?

(53,035 posts)I made a mistake and confused this with the capitol attack. It was the same day after all.

(94,598 posts)The pipe bombs were discovered.
The DOJ is investigating.
A suspect has not been identified.
Until theres a suspect who gets indicted, or more evidence to share with the public to help find the suspect is available, theres nothing new to report. Thats not acover-up.

(8,387 posts)Take a look at the pictures of the bombs released by the FBI:
They had plastic mechanical kitchen timers on them.
They were left the night before.
You can see right on the dial that these are one hour timers.
Anyone care to explain how a one-hour kitchen timer, set the night before, was going to close the contacts on those alligator clips more than twelve hours later?
The other thing to notice about the timers is that they aren't working. They are both still set at full scale. They could not have been placed at the same time, but they have the same full-scale remaining time on the timers.
These are not functional devices.
