(2,065 posts)a kids failure. Tests are given not to judge students but to judge teachers.
Politicians call for privatization of public education as if thatll fix everything by. Schools are starved for cash. So teachers are starved for cash. Teachers are micromanaged on an hourly basis. Its never ending. Theres not enough of us so we do the work of 2 or 3 people.
And the word shouldn't is doing a lot of work in your post. I cannot in good conscience tell a young person to go into education.

Yet if they would have provided one of this novelty checks and had the news there to showcase their commitment to helping teachers and students that would have had a more positive impact. Instead they showed a lack of humanity and turned this into a sideshow for the circus fair.
