It's one of the reasons why our single adjusted poverty rate is approaching $30K a year.

There's only so many decades you can mine a populous before they are forced to leave the state when retiring.


I get the helping portion very well, after we got hit with Sandy and the GOP fucked us for a while. Most of us don't mind helping others, and assume it's part of a socialized society to help others, but when we constantly get kicked in the teeth afterwards by the socialism-sucking red states that keep their states back-leveled and never 'pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.'

I'm sure whatever federal aid is given, CA, NJ & NY taxpayers will be contributing most of it.

KY at least has a Democratic governor and I’ll trust him to know how to handle the funds.
