DT Jr. says following Bible's peaceful part has 'gotten us nothing'

Donald Trump Jr. told young Republicans attending a conference Sunday that biblical teachings have gotten the party nowhere after damning new texts revealed he was aware of the magnitude of the Capitol riots.

Speaking to a Turning Point audience in Arizona, the 43-year-old claimed conservatives have been playing T-ball for the past five decades as Democrats have been 'cheating' while playing hardball.

'We've turned the other cheek and I understand the biblical reference, I understand the mentality,' he said. 'But it's gotten us nothing.

'It's gotten us nothing while we've ceded ground in every major institution in our country.'

When has the GOP ever followed the Bible? They pay lip service to Christianity but their god is money.

We should all thank DT Jr. for speaking out loud the obvious, that American Anglo Christianity is self-serving and completely misses the point behind Jesus' teachings. So, just drop the facade already. Maybe call yourselves something that will define your new religion. May I offer some suggestions:
