Manchin or Murkowski?

She always seemed to have a much better moral compass than Joe.

Any Alaska DUers able to provide insight?

It seems if we need to negotiate with Republicans we should at least work with the ones who have the moral fortitude to begin with honestly identifying themselves.

1. Murkowski is probably more forthright about her views.

I doubt she would ever go on MSNBC to torpedo a Republican bill.

But her voting record is much, much, worse than Manchin's.

As terrible as all of our opinions are about Manchin, he is objectively head and shoulders better than every republican.

We expect republicans to be pieces of shit. We expect better of people who want to call themselves Democrats. That's why he and Sinema are so damned aggravating.

There are some of today's who were around and active 'then;' they've transformed amazingly.

Her record on that subject is better than his. Not sure about gay rights or gun-control though. Anyone?

In fact in the case of Pennsylvania and North Carolina and maybe Ohio there might be a better chance of them voting with Democrats on this if they were running again but even then it's not likely .

Assuming Biden had working relationships with these Senators, there may be a way to present incontrovertible proof of climate change only privy to the highest office, POTUS.

If not, then the next year should be dedicated to taking on and exposing fake news and made up science that is dooming us to oblivion.
