Is Manchin's Recalcitrance Regarding The Filibuster & Voting For Biden's BBB Infrastructure.....

package and allowing the voting rights bill to go through without a 60 vote margin putting him in a position that he risks being labeled with the treasonous Repugs and being more of a Tr**p loyalist that is looking to end our democracy?

Does he want to get mixed up with the Repugs and their seemingly anti-democracy stand.

Does he want his legacy to be labeled as 'treasonous'?

I know that I'm pushing things here - potentially calling Manchin 'treasonous' - but the Dems are getting desperate here and I'm stretching things to the nth degree to see if something like this could bring Manchin to his senses and get him to go along with the Dems program.

I don't think Manchin is stupid enough to go along with the likes of the Repug Party and pick up a label that is attributed to the Repugs and Tr**p.

But by his out and out defiance to urges from his Dem colleagues and even some of his constituents in WV - I believe he is risking being labeled here.

I'm looking for any angle that will get him to go along with the program and end his stupid ego/power trip.

If by being more vocal and labeling Manchin as bordering on committing treason could work - I say we use it.

Now I know that 'treason' and 'treasonous' is really stretching things here - but I'm at a lack of coming up with a term that fits what he is doing. Certainly - it is anti-democratic. Certainly what he appears to be doing is aligning himself with the likes of the Repug Party. He's even threatened to switch Parties if he's pushed to far.

But bottom line does he really want to be associated with a Party that a is backing a coup attempt by its criminal former discredited president and potentially end our democracy?

compared to a con or repub, this is it.

To get the money from the Koch folks and others one has to side with the GOP, clearly.

Having said that I want to remind myself that the reason we cant vote or fight the virus is ALL republicans vote against us having the right to vote or protecting us from the virus, etc.

As much as I hate this guy, and I hate him, he has help.

At least on these issues. I can't believe this is the hill he wants to die on, while taking the country down with him.

Time to stop asking politely, and pick up a big stick. How do things stand with Sinema? If she gets behind The Right Thing, so Manchin is the only one left in the way, does that change the dynamic?
