RSVP to watch

President Biden had an eventful first year in office with efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic side effects, pass his ambitious legislative agenda to create a more equitable society, establish the most diverse administration in U.S. history, and more. As his first year in office comes to a close, what comes next for the president and what information can we glean as the 2022 midterms loom in the distance?

On January 19, Governance Studies at Brookings will host a webinar to examine Biden’s performance during his first year in office and what can be expected in his State of the Union speech to Congress. Experts will discuss Biden’s legislative wins and losses, his approval rating, and his upcoming year in office, among other issues.

Viewers can submit questions for speakers via email to events@brookings.edu or by tweeting @BrookingsGov using #Biden1Year.
