Newt Gingrich blames Nancy Pelosi for the Capitol riot, saying she should have secured the building

Newt Gingrich blamed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the Capitol riot, saying it was her responsibility to ensure the Capitol was secure on January 6, 2021.

On "The Ingraham Angle" on Thursday, the first anniversary of the insurrection, the host Laura Ingraham asked if Gingrich, a former House speaker, thought it was Pelosi's responsibility to secure the Capitol before the riot.

"I think she is the person who is most responsible for what happened," Gingrich told Ingraham. "It was her job to ensure there was adequate police."

He added, "A lot of this is a dance by the Democrats who don't want us to look very closely at what actually happened."

This is one asshole whose obituary I am looking forward to seeing.

Jan 2022

A home was broken into and burglarized. Homeowner shot one of the burglars... The other burglars got in and ransacked the property anyway and beat up one of the residents.

Who is at fault here? Would Newt Gingrich blame the homeowner because the homeowner didn't lock the door?

I know it's not an exact analogy but I view Jan 6th 2021 as pretty close to a home invasion with the occupants being terrorized. It's odd that some of the occupants of that house are now saying that they weren't raided and that the burglars came over for tea and biscuits... what on earth are they smoking? And what is Newt Gingrich smoking?

So it was Nancy Pelosi who gave the D.C. National Guard this stand down order 2 days before the attempted coup?

BTW my late father had a friend who was a professor @ West Georgia U. where Newt was teaching @
and the second that they could they kicked his ass out of there just like the Democrats and the Republicans
who ran his ass out congress and being the speaker.

that stand down order which was issued 2 days before the 1/6/21 attempted coup. And before that order
the D.C. National Guard had the autonomy to respond to things like the Capitol take over on their own.

Before that letter the D.C. National Guard had the autonomy and the responsibility to have responded
to the attack on the US Capitol. Gen. Flynn's brother was at the Pentagon trying to stop the MD and
VA's national guard units from responding to the violence @ the Capitol too.

is responsible for maintaining security at the capital. He/she is appointed by the house speaker for a 2 year gig. This is how they make the connection with speaker Pelosi. Paul Irving gave his resignation to Nancy Pelosi on January 7.

of the Fox customers, the deed is done. That idea has been fed to the dimwits.
The dimwits then magnify it, and it becomes part of the cult's holy dogma.
