Incidentally, now PRESIDENT Joe Biden wasn't among her first three choices among the Democratic candidates last year, nor was now VICE PRESIDENT Kamala Harris.

...due to a scheduling conflict.

I don't know if this was Stacey's way of placating the local boycotters or some other political compromise, but I'm not buying a time conflict when the President and VP are in town to discuss your very own signature cause.

There was some weirdness between Abrams and Biden during Biden's campaign. Remember when Biden floated the idea of choosing Abrams as his running mate long before the convention, but then didn't even interview/meet with her when the time came.
