(15,143 posts)Rachel reported just recently that his lawyers met with the Fulton County DA in December. Then TFG put out a weird "statement" attacking AGs and DAs that made no sense.
So the case has been percolating for a while now, but the indictment issue has become much more immediate.

(3,035 posts)Justice really needs to be swift to take the wind out of the Trump ship's sails. Waaaaayyyy too much prosecutorial and judicial patience with Team Trump's endless delaying tactics. And when it happens, gag order the issues so he can't make political hay with it.
