trying to survive 45's shit storm has been my main job. Makes it harder to spread out too far with all the covid spreading anti vax holes

Very frustrating on environmental issues because it is mostly a slow retreat. Especially since so much attention is going towards climate issues.

Older folks tend to be more conservative, retired people in particular. And retired people have far more time to be busy political activists then people who are busy working and/or raising a family

Moreover, right-wing politics is a business. Rich people and businesses see it as a profit-making venture, so they pay people, one way or another, to push their agenda. They are literally at it every day. The left tends to go back to their lives and their day jobs and don't get back into it until a campaign or a specific need arises.
