(WSVN) - As temperatures come down, so do the iguanas.
As South Florida experiences degrees in the 40s, cold-stunned iguanas could fall from trees.

(32,083 posts)and stick them in a freezer for several days, where they never wake up again. They won't know what hit them. Ditto for any of the pythons and any other invasives they run across.

(12,388 posts)But they like it here so they have become a bit of a nuisance. We now have businesses that are licensed to humanely come and and rid your property of them.

(32,083 posts)They fall asleep, and never way up again. It's a good way to humanely euthanize any cold-blooded animal. Looks like Mother Nature is providing a head-start here.

Can you imagine 10 or so Iguanas waking up and running around the inside of a Corolla!!
