Pres. Obama would want to give up his lifestyle and lucrative stipends to be on the Court. He's more valuable to Democrats where he is. Now Michelle........ She received a PhD in law recently. Who knows?

2. Politically, that would be stupid. Honestly, I don't even think Obama would make it through

might not make it through Senate confirmation? Maybe, maybe not as even the two recalcitrant Democratic senators have been confirming Biden's judicial picks. And nominating Pres. Obama is no more politically stupid than McTurtle stealing a SCOTUS seat from Obama and us Dems for Gorsuch, and later cramming the questionable Kavanaugh and Barrett onto the bench because he knew he had the votes.

My point being so far Biden knows he has the votes since McTurtle himself got rid of the 60-vote requirement in the Senate for SCOTUS justices. Oh the double irony it would be if Pres. O got appointed—double irony in that he had a seat stolen from him by McTurtle and McTurtle was the one who nuked the filibuster in the Senate for SCOTUS justices.

It would be Karmic justice in a way and satisfying irony but I'm not in favor of it, his age being one and two, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't take it. But I don't agree with it being called politically stupid. Politically inexpedient maybe, or partisan, but stupid, no. wrong word choice.

He's got several good candidates who've already been confirmed by this Senate.

Check it out:

Biden appoints Obama to the Supreme Court.

The entire hard right goes into panic mode. Many of them die from heart attacks, head explosions and other ailments. Many prominent rich Republicans flee to Poland because they can no longer live in a country that would put Obama on the Supreme Court.

After three days, there should be enough Republican depletion in this land to turn Idaho blue, at which point Obama tells the nation that while he’s honored the seat should go to someone younger, and Biden introduces the person he really wants on the Court.

I'm guessing President Biden will be getting (and rightfully ignoring) a ton of armchair quarter-backing over the course of the next week.

I'm just curious as to who it will eventually be, regardless of the guess-work by editorials and opinions.

He had his fill (I'd imagine) of the horrors of Washington and I seriously doubt he has any interest in getting back in the game.
