including my middle initial.
my printing doesn't suck--my info was perfectly readable.
the company sent me a credit card with the wrong middle initial.
i thought about trying to correct it, and then i got a piece of junk mail with that wrong middle initial.
thought it was kinda funny that i could tell where they got it from. and through the years i get mail with that wrong initial.
meanwhile, everything else remained fine. i voted and paid taxes and got tax refunds--all with the correct initial.
today i got my i.r.s. "economic impact payment" statement. with the usual WRONG middle initial. wtf?
(maybe that "impact check" had me with the wrong initial too. i don't remember--or did i even notice? but this envelope that i got today really stood out to me)
does the irs fuck up anyone else's name? i never heard of that before.

It's interesting to see from the resultant mail and targeted ads the path these identities take through the system.
You get an idea of who is selling to who.

(13,913 posts)(remember phone books?) it was in my dogs name. Any phone calls for Kira or mail for kira was immediately shitcaned.. The system worked well..
On occasion, after 50 years and a move to another part of the state I STILL get mail for
Kira... She was a good o'l dog...
