leave the stage and find a nice quiet place to spend his golden years?
If they don't, he's liable to spend them in prison.

(21,848 posts)Hi ex-wives apparently hate him. His son is a narcissist.
It reminds me of Don T Jr. If anyone cared about him, they would have staged an intervention and stopped him from making those embarrassing videos where he is as high as a kite.

(16,829 posts)he seems to have changed a lot since then. Does he have dementia? Is this the real Rudy that was working underneath the whole time?
His behavior is crazy, and its criminal.

long ago. Hes been skating on the edge for awhile and at some point he fell off, and its a long fall.
Hes also 77 now. He doesnt look or sound like a well man. I also looked at him during Trumps post-election debacle and wondered if there was anyone in his family to intervene.
But heres the thing: theres a certain personality type shouty, bullying, insistent on their own way at all costs that conditions their families, their subordinates, anyone in their orbit, to leave them alone or to obey them just to avoid the fights.
I have read that people with dementia may experience noticable personality changes, even early on. Frankly, I have not seen that with these types, altho my personal sample is blessedly small. They have to be really far gone before they lose their grip on those habits. It makes it awfully hard for family to intervene.
Meanwhile, said family may feel utterly alienated, a possibility with the multiply-divorced Rudy. Or they may be completely transactional and looking out for Number 1, as seems to be a Trump family tradition. Trump himself is 75.
(Biden is 79, before someone reminds me, a man who runs and bikes, takes good care of himself. I have known quite a few people who are sharp as a tack well into their 80s and 90s.) q

(1,311 posts)What happened to Rudy - or was he always like this? I remember being so impressed that he made a point of attending the funerals of the heros of 9/11. Now hes just a caricature. Is he in serious mental decline, or has he always been a morally bankrupt jerk?

(118,282 posts)his relationship with Judith, and Judith has forgiven his relationship with Maria, and they're laughing happily together as they watch old Rudy pull his hand out of his pants and zip up and remember all the good times they had together
