Seemed to capture my situation at the time, though it’s obviously a parody.

Supposed to be a warning for nuclear war
The future's so bright is the blast
That was his intention - not sure if it worked
Good song though

Groove to the music of those two before they merged talent and got married, back in the day in Madison, Wisc.

A few years after I left there, I was in San Diego listening to the radio with a sibling and an ad for their concert came on. I heard the sang a time or two and immediately recognized the harmonica styyle and told my sibling that I think I know the musician from somewhere. When I saw an article in the paper I was thrilled to see they were getting national attention, they are both good in their own right as performers. I've never seen them perform together but I used to see them in the clubs in Madison, Pat McDonald and the Essentials played at parties my friends and I held back then.
Great song. It is so technically simple it's kind of a parody of the genre.
