The news "media" should be much more aware and skeptical of Republican propaganda.

They are played like a fiddle by Republican politicians and Republican Party operatives, as a means to get out their partisan propaganda against Democrats and others that do not agree with them. For example, it was a disgrace the way they bought into all the Hillary lies and propaganda. They did a similar thing when they promoted the lie in Iraq and the invasion of Afghanistan.

By doing so, they have done great harm to our country. Their dismissal of the divisive attacks and the unstable actions of Donald Trump was a continuation of their lack of responsible reporting. They would beat up on FOX News but almost all of them promoted the Republican propaganda when it was to the Republican Party advantage.

Their attempts to normalize what we have experienced for the last 5 or 6 years has put our nation into a very precarious position. Our democracy and institutions are threatened. They did the bidding of the Republicans with few questions and very little skepticism.

They are doing the same thing today with attacks on Biden about the economy and their lack of attacks upon the traitors that tried to overthrow our government.

the MSM is complicit. I only watch 3 people on cable news and 2 of them were off last week. I sure hope Nicolle is back.

The MSM is quite aware of the right wing propaganda, that's who owns them.

Think back Kentuck to what msnbc used to be and then it fired; Keith Olbermann, Melissa Harris/Perry, Martin Brashear, Ed Schultz, my favorite - Dylan Ratigan. MSNBC since then lurched hard right except for a handful of truth tellers.

and how much the party of trump has saved them. I would think that a lot of the talking heads also benefitted from the republican largesse for the the upper income brackets. None of them can even relate to the average working stiff in this country and it shows daily.

We’re all ignoring the warning signs that the far right is being riled up in preparation to rebel and try to siege control. Listen to (well, read about it) a Repube, who once was engaged with such efforts, describe it (see linked Salon article). In his view, they’ll be happy to burn this country down to try and get what they want. And they’re preparing to do just that.
