A stipulation regarding Iraq:

The invasion and war that we started there in 2003 was an abomination, without proper justification and/or a colossal mistake.

That agreed, can we further agree to the following:

Russia’s actions in Ukraine have absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with our actions 19 years ago in Iraq, and there is no use or purpose in bringing in our actions in Iraq to the current situation in Ukraine other than to provide a cheap and ultimately inapplicable excuse for Putin’s aggression in Ukraine.

Agreed?

we’ve pulled that crud too, including stealing land from Mexico and Native Americans.

Although I support NATO, I can understand why a country might be worried like when Russia put missiles in Cuba and talked about putting arms in South American.
