Would you really be that less informed without watching a cable news show?

...it seems to be something I've already heard of.

Let's be honest; she doesn't have a team of investigative reporters working for her; she finds stories in the news and offers her own perspective or that of her guests. Perspectives I can live without. The five newspapers (and aggregation sites) I read daily keep me informed on the facts.

That while she will still be doing some special projects, the days of her nightly program are over. She will be missed - but Alex Wagner is one sharp newswoman.

Not that I've watched her regularly. For one thing, she can be VERY repetitive when trying to make a point. Just say it and go on!

But she deserves to move on and do what she'd rather do.

It's a major turn-off for me--I know she has to fill time, but, DAMN! surely she could find a better way than treating me like a fourth-grader. I like the stories she does, the viewpoint she brings to them, and the guests she has on, and that's the only reason I put up with watching her.

Alex is better, IMHO.

She just doesn't want to do the usual everyday type of show.

Yes, Alex Wagner would be a good one to take over her show.

Mehdi Hasan would be my second choice for a replacement (*shudder* I can't imagine what it will be like when she's gone).

Ali Velshi is the only replacement that I can see in that spot. Alex Wagner has always gotten on my nerves. Can’t explain why, but I just find her extremely irritating.

But I don’t really like the fill ins for her or anyone else either. So many have left etc. it feels very weird to me. I would never watch most of it on my own and switch to entertainment when on my own.
No one will replace her, that’s for sure. She did such in depth studies of things which almost no one else was doing, usually things that really matter, and she seemed to really care.
