For our education and edification, I am posting it here:
ATTN: Your Republican Membership has EXPIRED
For the last 2 years, you have consistently stood by House Republicans side. Youve supported the Conservative fight furiously and consistently through every battle weve seen, but we have bad news for you.
It pains me to have to tell you that for the first time ever, youve failed to renew your Republican Membership and have lost your support streak.
Theres good news though. I spoke with leadership about this special circumstance, and they have allowed us to extend our Membership renewal period to 11:59 PM TONIGHT.
Are you going to renew your 2022 Membership and become a sustaining Republican Member for 2 consecutive years, or have we lost your support to the Left and you are going to let your streak fade away?
RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP
EXPIRED
Were approaching the biggest battle of our lives. The 2022 Midterm Elections will be the toughest election weve seen yet, and we need our strongest grassroots supporters on our side.
The Democrats raised over $130 MILLION last year alone. Were already behind, but with your help, we can close the gap, and take back the Conservative Majority in Congress.
You only have until 11:59 PM to let us know if you plan to stand against the Left and their radical socialist agenda for a 3rd year in a row. Renew before its too late >>>
Americans across the country are counting on you. Dont let them down.
Thank you,
Mark, National Republican Membership Office

(6,599 posts)So, is it really a scam to claim that membership in a non-existent thing has expired?
If they lie & say membership in a REAL thing has expired, when it hasn't, that could be legally considered a scam. But membership in something that doesn't exist? I doubt it.
Again, they choose their words very carefully.

(15,124 posts)Your recent letter to our friend clearly demonstrates that your cult's membership records are no more accurate than anything else it spews into the public discourse. Before slandering any other proud progressives by attempting to associate them with your rancid world view, we strongly suggest that you turn your attention to the "consolidation of your defecation" and "getting your waterfowl in sequence".
Should you ever again defame one of ours as a REPUBLICAN---for crying out loud! --- rest assured that the next "memo" you receive will name you and your group of grifters as "Defendants".
No need to respond. We are watching.
Sincerely, the DU Gang
