And the RW idiots in my state just keep voting him in. I'm convinced he could eat a baby on television and he'd still get re-elected.

why anyone would. Is there some kind of explaination/excuse/whatever from Barbour? Not that versed in this story except for the wtf factor.

did he promise these felons to let them out so he could use them for 'hits' or something? just too bizarre.

He let one out so he could get free labor for work on his home, and that guy had killed his wife with a shotgun blast to the face. He's crooked as a barrel of snakes.

I believe some of the criminals worked at the Governor's Mansion, which led him to believe in all his expertise that they were good to go! Ready to be released as regular ole citizens.
