That horrifying quote's reported in Politico. Schlapp's the CPAC executive who put this event on. Trump is actually the runaway favorite of that crowd, and Politico describes the event as showing his muscle.

Reportedly, McDonalds and Diet Coke were served to VIPs attending a VIP Trump reception. Presumably, the VIPs had purchased the most expensive CPAC tickets and/or are sizable donors to tRump. Wonder if some of their fat cats ate it as a show of loyalty.
