11. These shell companies operate exactly the same way in the US

It's not just happening in London, even though this guy explains it very well. Chump has been laundering Russian money in the US for over 30 years for the oligarchs. He and Michael Cohen have shown them how to set up the shell companies with generic names like "ABC Holding Company" or something similar. This is how they pay for expensive condos, yachts, private jets, etc. with their stolen wealth.

The sanctions are meant to stop this, but now the difficulty is identifying which shell companies are in fact owned by Russian oligarchs. It's a huge task now because we (and the British) were looking the other way for so long.
