Republicans, Hurricanes, and Disaster Relief: Was Paul Ryan One of Those

As many of us are aware, Hurricane Sandy is projected to hit the eastern US seaboard and cause massive damage and destruction to the people, homes, businesses, and infrastructure in the mid-Atlantic states and in New England.

Which made me think about Republicans and their attitude towards the residents of New Orleans and Lousiana's and Mississippi's Gulf Coast.

Was Paul Ryan one of those Republicans who either tried to take disaster relief money hostage for a Radical Right agenda or voted to cut funding for FEMA and other disaster-relief agencies?

Inquiring minds want to know.
