An honest view of the circus of gop nomination

GOP-za-Poppin'!

To those who still haven't made the politics/news/entertainment connection yet, even though the unholy nexus is on display every time a TV screen (or AM radio) is switched on, the daily events that are classified carelessly as "news" would seem thoroughly authentic.

Balderdash, I say!

I don't really know who to cheer for here.

Mitt Romney will likely be the nominee, and Obama will take him out to the woodshed and spank him in November...so I guess I could hope for that. He's just slimy and people don't like him, even in the GOP.

All of these other names seem to just be taking turns to decide who's going to be the flavor of the day, until the voters realize how deeply flawed they are. Santorum was it last week, Huntsman is probably next.

Might be too much to hope for, but a Obama vs. Ron Paul will certainly be the most interesting. I enjoy watching him...it's like watching a pissed off old leprechaun whining about someone stealing his gold.

I think the established power in GOP (Rove & company) played this process of switching front runners to the extreme as Weber indicated... to end up with an underfog, satisfactory Rmoney (intentional)
