It was either Thanksgiving or Christmas day in the mid 80's.

The dean of Phoenix broadcast news was this old guy who wore bolo ties, as stiff as they come. Anyway he is reading the news and states "An estranged husband in Awahtukee shot his wife and her boyfriend in the couples home. Minor injuries were reported, the wife was grazed in the cheek and her boyfriend was shot in the thigh, only one shot was fired."

At that point the camera was shaking and the stiffy finally realized what he said. I am sure at least one person was fired.
