I guess Will Smith has put an end to all comedy roasts.
No more jokes making fun of, insulting people. People will probably demand laws be put in place. If you tell a joke about a guys wife you go to prison.

1. Fortunately, comedy roasts don't routinely rely on making fun of disabilities.
Roasts are also something people consent to participate in, knowing what's involved.

15. Bezos probably has male pattern baldness.
But that doesn't mean he isn't sensitive about his hair loss.

2. Actually Smith's punch/slap was the best part. Rock couldn't take a joke?

18. Defending your wife because a comedian compared her to Demi Moore?
How horrible!

5. Yeah, after watching the unedited footage, I've come to the following conclusions:
1.)Rock likely didn't know the origin of Jada's baldness, but it was still a terrible joke. Female hair loss is a hard no off-limits topic. You don't even mention it let alone joke about it. 2.)Someone else likely wrote the joke and Rock just read it. Still not an excuse. 3.)Will's initial reaction was to laugh at the joke. 4.)Will "turned on" the outrage once he saw that Jada was aggravated. 5.)Rock thought it was a bit, he even stuck his face out before Will slapped him. It looked like he was expecting a hug or a fake punch. 6.)Will's yelling from the seat was 100% him acting. He had to make a scene out of it, it was not spontaneous. 7.)Smith should have been escorted from the building immediately. The worst fallout from this will be people seeing there are no consequences for violence. 8.)They should have just announced Will's award and moved on with the show. Giving him spotlight and adulation after that made it all worse. 9.)Everyone is talking about the Oscars now and 12 hours ago no one gave a shit. |

12. My bald head has been made fun of for 50 years. People laughed
when they say I use ivory soap for shampoo, or when I spin on my head break dancing. Its a solar sex plate too. I think they are funny and laughter is much healthier than getting pissed off and slapping the shit out of someone. Will needs mental health before his anger gets anymore out of hand.
