Thanks, Barack, for today's moment of Zen

So I just visited barackobama.com, clicked on a "Donate" button and I got a little reminder that there are other things (that are perhaps more important) going on this "election season". Clicking on "Donate", could have taken me to the standard campaign fund raising form (particularly important with Romney and his billionaire-funded SuperPAC's out-raising and out-spending the President). But, instead, it did something different ...

I'm sure Romney is jumping all over this break in the Obama camp, as a chance to take the lead.
Romney's like a bad child cheating at a board game.

I went to barackobama.com and there is, in fact, a donate button on the front page for the ARC. It's not even below the scroll line. It's right there in front. But there is also a donate button for the campaign at the top of the page.

Then I thought, well...Romney probably has one too, if only not to be out"compassionate"d.

So I checked. (suppresses gag-reflex while typing it in)

Nope. No link to the ARC. No link to anything except his grab for power.

When will I learn?

We really do have one of the classiest presidents in our history, and Romney really is a power-grabbing, racist, snotty rich bastard.

Excuse me while I go disinfect my computer now.

...the sincerest form of flattery, and all that, seems Willard has found yet one more way to attempt to emulate President Obama, a mere week from the 3rd debate when he kept agreeing with the President.

The red cross donation is right below the campaign donation button but the campaign donation button takes me to the usual place.

I'm not posting because I have any doubt that President Obama cares deeply and is thinking first and foremost about the people in need and the best way to manage what the storm brings.

I just think it's important to be clear.
