1977 or '78, I think. I lived across the river in NJ and it was weird to see the NYC skyline in total darkness. VERY creepy!!

Beautiful picture almost surreal!
I remember once when I was little. My mom had us all come out and watch the changing sky before a hurricane was to hit. The sky was like that then. And the silence around us was deafening! It was the calm before the storm.
