70+ mph winds...or 35 mph winds?

Weather.com's storm impact scenario graphics are totally at odds with the actual forecasts on the site. For example, NYC's graphic says winds gusts of "70+ mph" for Monday night:

But the site's hourly forecasts for NYC (Monday night):

http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/graph/New+York+NY+USNY0996:1:US?pagenum=2&nextbeginIndex=6

4pm: wind NNE at 39mph
5pm: wind NNE at 40mph
6pm: wind NNE at 37mph
7pm: wind NNE at 35mph

5. That's correct. Those sustained wind estimates are nothing to sneeze at.
