Improving employment situation

I was at a big family party, started talking about jobs, two of them recently got hired for better jobs. One is pretty sure he's about to get a better job. I said, seems like employment is improving. Everyone agreed and starting talking about others they know who are finding new jobs and said they noticed the "Help Wanted" signs in business windows.

I know it isn't over, my case load at the unemployment office is still double what it was in 2006, but that is half of what it was at the height of all this.

I'm in Utah. We've been seeing it for a couple of months, maybe 3 or 4. Here's hoping.

Whether or not it affects the election (and in Utah, it won't ), this is great to hear!

Only thing to hope for is re-election of President Obama, without whom it will NOT continue.
