Sandy will stall over PA for a full day

This will be a massive rain event for the expanded Washington DC metro area and all of central/eastern PA because this storm is so freaking slow. As it collides with the incoming cold front it will grind to a halt before eventually rolling off to the north.

Expect some 24 and 48 hour total rainfall records south and west of the storm center. (Wind, and storm surge, is heaviest north and east of the center. Rain is heaviest south and west.)

Knowing my luck, there's no way of that, but it is heading directly toward my house.
