Fear of Republicans and Right Wing Media: Why Corporate Media shills for Romney, race is "tied"
Many of us are dumbfounded and upset by the fact that the Corporate Media is blatantly negative against the president and seem to be hyping Mitt Romney.
I have a theory as to why: Since 2007, the wingnuts have stayed on message regarding what Palin called "The Lamestream Media". For them, the Lamestream Media never vetted Obama. The Lamestream Media treated Obama with "kid gloves". The Lamestream Media is in the tank for Obama. The Lamestream Media wants Obama to win. This has been a constant theme for the Right ever since we got to know Obama in 2007.
Now, I believe that the so-called "liberal," Lamestream Media is so afraid of being labeled as pro-Obama or pro-Democrat anything that it has refused to hold Romney accountable for his lies. It has refused to hold the Republicans in Congress accountable for deliberately sabotaging the economy. The liberal, Lamestream Media is now hyping Republican talking points, championing polls that show a slight lead for Mitt Romney, producing "news" segments that are blatantly negative against Obama; showing only snippets of Obama speeches. Again, this has been true of the Corporate Media since 2007.
