Saying that their candidate sucked more wind out of the air than Hurricane Sandy, a Romney campaign spokesman stated today that they were declaring their campaign "a national disaster" and were now applying for federal relief.
Herbert Hoover Heathcliff, new campaign spokesman for the Romney campaign, said this morning at a quick press briefing, "We're sorry we ever let Mitt Romney win the Republican nomination and we are now officially declaring the entire campaign a national disaster."
Asked what Romney planned to do after the election, given this devastating statement by his campaign spokesman, Heathcliff said that Romney planned to move to China to become the head of the new Jeep Division.
When asked about Ryan's future, Healthcliff responded by saying "Who?", quickly followed by "Who cares?", which was quickly followed by "No comment."

(21,925 posts)Romney would never lie low and do the decent thing out of a sense of propriety. His campaign must really be afraid of looking bad after that Republican debate video became the focus of interest in which he said we should get rid of FEMA.
Major Hogwash
(17,656 posts)As reported on Lawrence O'Donnell's program tonight, it has been 22 days, and counting, since Romney has sat down with anyone from the media and given an interview.
Romney is running the most amazing, disappearing, shrinking campaign in the history of the United States.
